The first trailer for The Giver film is here! And it features Meryl Streep telling us we make bad choices and Jeff Bridges looking unimpressed with that theory.

Honestly, we’re a little weirded out by how futuristic it looks. The book felt very rural, but this looks like they took the visual vernacular of Ender’s Game or Divergent and pasted it over. What do you think?
